A few weeks ago we noticed that our rock band pedal had a crack in it. Soon after that it broke in half. We tried gluing it back together and it broke again. We tried fixing it again and this time we took a strip of aluminum and wrapped it around the hinge of the pedal and then we bolted it together.

Kinda weird? Mine broke at the middle of the pedal, I eventually bought a replacement from a company called pedalmasters at:
http://www.pedalmasters.com
I spent $25 for my pedal. I read in alot of blogs and web forums that the plastic pedal routinely breaks and I didnt want to keep waiting for EA to send me new ones every time I broke the stupid thing. Well, I’ve had the pedal for almost 1 month and its been through hell. So wise investement on my part.
Sheetmetal approach isnt a bad idea though if you’re short on cash. I just made my boyfriend buy it for me. lol

Finally someone other than lonely men, playing games. I was so happy to hear that there are actually girls other than me that play Rock Band.
We have a band called Lipstick Serenade and our pedal broke too. After reading your post, we went and got a purple pedal from them. We just ordered it and can’t wait to get it installed. Guys go nuts when we play.
Shout out to the ladies of Rock Band and http://www.pedalmasters.com

I smoked my pedal about a week ago and already pedalmasters.com has shipped me my replacement. Much better turn around than the last replacement from EA.
